Neck liposuction involves the removal of fat from the neck in order to correct double chins, potential sagging and looseness. If you feel like you have a double chin or rather a large neck, neck liposuction may be an ideal solution for you. During your Neck Liposuction procedure, we will remove excess fat from within the neck area. This will give you a better, more defined and shapely appearance to your neck. This treatment can also be combined with a neck lift for even greater results.

The Neck Liposuction procedure involves first numbing the skin and the underlying tissue with injections. We then make a very small (about 3-5 mm) cut under your jaw and/or your ears. We then remove the fat from under your skin utilising suction and special needles.

Once the required amount of fat has been removed, we proceed to carefully close the incision area using a special dressing. Stitches aren’t generally necessary. We recommend applying an ice pack to minimise swelling. You should also wear a supportive dressing or chin strap for about 3 to 4 days.

During this procedure, we can also inject the excess fat back taken out of your neck into other areas of the face that might have become displaced. This helps recreate a more proportionate dimension. The most popular areas requiring fat injections are the cheeks, eyelids and smile lines running from the side of the nose to mouth.
